Gratitude can do anything and yes it may sound crazy. But there is a power in it that is incredibly strong. I use gratitude – both when I’m feeling great, and even more so when I’m having a hard time. When I’m fooling around in negative times, when everything is just boring, I can turn it around in my mind.
This is also something that I briefly address in my lecture. Because it’s really important to remember to give thanks for everything I have and not just want more and more ☀️
THANK YOU is really important! My thankfulness no one can take away from me! 🙂 I feel like I get my mind off the negative and end up focusing on the positive instead. Doing so makes me appreciate life and the things around me more. I can have a tendency to let my thoughts rule, but knowing that I can turn it around, the negativity doesn’t last long. It may sound very banal, but I feel with age, I have more control over my body and thoughts 🙂
It’s not something I just did. It has taken me time to be where I am today, but it has been worth the journey. And I’m enjoying the journey because it just gets better and better 🙂
I say thank you every morning and evening. Thank you for what I have, what I have achieved and for the various things that have happened during the day. I believe that it gives satisfaction inside and joy at what you have achieved. The positive joy just breeds more and doors open 🙂
And when I have a stupid or boring day, when I can find it difficult to say thank you, I always find something to say thank you for anyway. Something to be positive about. Because even the very small things in life, we can focus on ☀️✨🌱🍂
So maybe I’m saying thank you for the sun shining and warming, the beautiful autumn, the snow falling, the smile from a stranger on the street, hot cocoa after a walk, a good song in the ears, the bird in the sky, the fart fortunately not smelly, clean bed linen, my wool sweaters, nice comments on my posts, hugs from someone I care about, a ‘runner with brunner’ in the Funen, new equipment, ice water on a hot day… well, I could go on: )
Try making a list… of 100 things you appreciate – big or small. You are guaranteed to have a lot to be grateful for without even thinking about it 🙂
Thanks for reading along on a feeling I wanted to share.
And before I end, I would like to THANK you for being with me on this adventurous journey I am on in my Work & Travel life. With you, it’s just more fun to share, and get your feedback. You have no idea how much it means to me to see and feel you 🙏🏼💪🏻❤️
